Ms. Kurban has directed Employee Assistance Programs and professional geriatric care management and home care services. She is well-versed in behavioral health care issues and knowledgeable about advances in health care including accountable care organizations, electronic health records, and the push toward integrated care.
In her former role as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc., Ms. Kurban wrote grants and proposals, identified business opportunities, marketed services including an electronic health record and an Employee Assistance Program, developed website content and marketing materials, exhibited at trade shows, and worked collaboratively with stakeholders and other organizations on joint projects.
She has developed web content for numerous organizations and is experienced with various platforms including WordPress, Umbraco, Wix, and other content management systems.
Ms. Kurban has been a volunteer contributing writer for the "Connecticut Law Tribune," a contributing writer and co-editor for "Inside GCM," a national publication for professional care managers, and the former editor of a literary journal. She is the published author of "Under Suspicion," a thriller novel set in St. Maarten.
